Domainers, Guess Which Country Produces The Most Spam?

Have you taken a guess yet? If not, make sure to do it. Ok, times up! The answer is the United States of America, according to recent reports from security firm, Sophos. The United states was responsible for around 16 percent of all of the spam received between the months of April and June of this year. This is calculated as being one in every six junk emails. In second, Brazil came in with a close 11 percent and below Brazil was Turkey with a meager 5 percent. Russia, who used to be a top offender is now in 9th place this year.

It’s amazing to think that the United States of America is the top offender for these online crimes as I definitely would of figured that we would have the proper security measures in place to prevent this type of problem.
