A few months ago I received a promotional mailer from Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. The mailer itself was full of vibrant colors, streamlined with cutting edge photographs of the hotels. Of course when looking at the mailer I couldn’t help to drift away from the photographs of scantily clad models posing next to the pool and bring my focus upon the domain names which Wynn Resorts, Limited has utilized for this promotional campaign.
VisitWynn.com is the featured domain for today’s domain spotlight Tuesdays. The domain itself contains a powerful word combination which triggers you to think about planning your next trip to Las Vegas. What more could you want out of a domain name. The online marketing team for the classy hotel & casino has done a stupendous job! (That’s right I have now added the word stupendous to my vernacular!) I commend this team of visionaries, because they realize the POWER OF A DOMAIN NAME! Not only are the promotional packages effective, but once you visit the domain name which is printed all over these materials you are presented with a well organized website full of eye candy!
Although the mailer I received has since expired, I literally debated on planning my next trip to Vegas because of it. The last day to take advantage of this mailer was September 7, 2009. Knowing Wynn Resorts, Limited’s marketing team I am sure I will be sent another mailer advertising new offers within the next few weeks. Just so everyone knows the deal listed in the mailer included Resort Room rates for $119 Sunday through Thursday and $169 Friday & Saturday. Great post Jason, I’m digging this weekly spotlight section. $119 for a weeknight at the Wynn is a screamin deal! I absolutely love that hotel and casino, very appropriate that dnpimping chooses the ‘pimpest’ spot in Vegas to write about! Last time I stayed there was at poker rate for a similar price.. only thing was for that price you had to play something like 5 hrs of poker per day.. pfff 5 hrs is nothing to a poker player!

Thanks Mike, I’ve walked through the Wynn a few times and whenever I pass by the poker section next to the Wynn Ferrari Maserati Showroom it is always packed with people. I’ve got to look into that poker rate, that sounds like a good deal.
