A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words (DOMAINfest 2010)
I am sure a number of you who attended DOMAINfest 2010 saw me snapping away on my trusty Fuji FINEPIX camera. While browsing through the vast number of photos I collected, one stood out from the rest. Of course there were a number of other photos which stood out as well, but what happens at the Playboy Mansion stays at the Mansion. 
This picture was taken right after the Moniker Live Auction. I found myself sitting in a large room, with a couple of other people who were preparing to leave for the night’s festivities. It was at this point where it dawned on me that DOMAINfest Global 2010 had impacted my life in so many ways. The picture captures this moment perfectly. There are sunglasses, a blackberry, my laptop and an empty glass of Merlot. Since I am a little lost for words today, I figured I would let the picture do the talking.

That picture sucks. I would rather have had a picture of just ONE girl at the playboy mansion. Take all the domainers out of the picture, I don’t care. If I remember correctly you’re not allowed to republish the pictures from Playboy though. It’s been a few years since I’ve been to the mansion. You know my email. And I won’t publish them

A couple of his comments were definitely spam so I deleted them. Funny how he started off with legitimate comments.

me and a few other guys who attended DomainFest received multiple emails from “Anna” who was selling website hosting and design (I received at least 30 of the same mail within an hour, at one point!).

(It’s a great photo! Captures the afterglow of the exciting event, where domainers watched almost $1,000,000 sell! I listened online. That was something else!)

Rashid seems to be spamming everyone. I am going to ban his IP from this blog if he continues to keep it up. Thanks Louise, that’s exactly what the picture signified to me as well. I was able to capture the ambiance! It was fun being there and the lighting made for an amazing photograph.
