A Funny Domainer Story
For those of you that read my blog, Morgan Linton and I are the organizers of the Southern California Domaining Group. Now get ready to laugh! Remember that meetup we have on Saturday? The one in Laguna Beach? It’s about an hour to two hours outside of Los Angeles depending on traffic.
Alright now back to the point. As some of you know we are holding the meetup at a restaurant called K’ya.

Since the meetup is a ways away from home and I most likely will join a few other domainers for festivities after the event, I should of registered a hotel room right? Well guess what? You know that hotel we’ve been telling people to stay at for Saturday night? Apparently SCDG members listened and took our advice! There are no more $100 rooms available. I learned this a few days ago! LOL!

This is quite ironic, since Morgan and I have been pushing group members to stay at this hotel! Personally I am glad to see that people took our advice! The event is going to be jam packed with domainers! We have a total thirty-four members who have RSVP’d for this event! I am very excited about meeting everyone and can’t believe the group is growing at such a rapid pace. There are now eighty-two members in the group! I wonder how many more people will join us tomorrow!
To say the least I still need to figure out my plans for Saturday night. I’ll either stay at another hotel or leave after everything comes to a close. Regardless of what happens, I’ll make sure to take lots of pictures!

It went from plenty availability to zilch within two to three days. Next time I will plan earlier, either way traffic shouldn’t be too bad at around 3am or so. I am bringing someone with me, so she can help drive if I get tired!

Great to hear from you. These meetups are scheduled once a month. If you are unable to make the meetup this evening we will have one in March. If I don’t see you this evening then I will see you at the meetup in March!
