3DGames Are On The Horizon, Will The Owners Of 3DGame.com And 3DGames.com Develop Or Sell?

Are 3D games the next big trend?  Sony not only believes this, they are moving forward with a PS3 3D game launch on Friday in the UK.  What has sparked this revolution?  You know the answer to that and probably had the pleasure of watching it.  We don’t mention the Avatar name around here, so let this be the only time that it is stated.  Media outlets have driven the movie name into oblivion and have over analyzed every segment of the block buster.

Now that consumers have experienced what 3D has to offer, what is the next step?  The next step is to create compact experiences that users can enjoy within there own homes.  The 3D technology has matured and consumers are in line to buy the experience.

After reading about Sony’s 3D game launch I couldn’t help to think about the domain names which could potentially capture such a market.  I looked up both 3dGame.com and 3dGames.com and what did I find?  Absolutely nothing!  I am disappointed to announce that both of these domain names are parked.  A great opportunity is being missed here.

Are the owners paying attention to the current craze for 3D Games?  Something tells me that they might be in the market to flip the names and have someone else develop the property.  If there was ever such a time to sell the domain name it would be now!  3D technology has been around for quite some time, but it has never been as advanced as it is now.

When I was younger I was the proud owner of a Sega Master System.  This was one of the first consoles ever developed.  One of my favorite games on the console was called Missile Defense 3D.  To play this game you had to put on 3D glasses which were directly connected to the console.  Sega was way ahead of its time with this game and was never able to overtake the popularity of Nintendo’s Duck Hunt.

The demand is there now and consumers are ready.  Hopefully the owners of 3DGame.com and 3dGames.com are also ready to serve these hungry gamers!
